olive grove. There is a wonderful feeling of seclusion and
serenity within the grounds. The rural surrounding area has
unusually good walking opportunities straight from the house
you can wander through woods and fields and above rivers
following the walking trail that takes you to Penna San
Giovanni and Gualdo. The nearest town however is only 2 kms
away.
The interior is stocked with Italian antiques but is designed for
comfort and relaxation. It sleeps 8 very comfortably with 3
double bedrooms and 2 twins, three en suite bathroom and one
other shower room, wc, sink.
All the bedrooms are elegantly and very comfortably furnished.
The reception room is spacious and full of charm and character,
the house is owned by Italians so has a very authentic feel. The
sitting room has a wide screen satellite TV, stereo, dvd, Cd and
children's games.
There is a lovely large tiled loggia with a big wooden table with
a barbecue and lighting,a perfect spot for outside dining
overlooking the garden and pool.
The surrounding area is one of outstanding beauty and the house
is on an elevated and sheltered position. There are wonderful
walks all around the house and dogs are welcome , with their
own kennel provided. The nearest town is Sant Angelo in
Pontano, a lively hill top town of great beauty and which
offers most shopping needs and has 3 very good restaurants and
3 bars. Close by there are several other medieval hill top towns
to discover and the beaches are less than one hours drive. The
Sibillini mountains are 1/2 hours drive offering swimming, loads
of outward bound activities, trekking and in winter skiing.
Mountain bikes are available at the house.
