The Accommodation

A fine old sturdy stone and brick farmhouse on the outside Casa Civetta has been
renovated to provide comfortable, airy accommodation within.
Each room enjoys a beautiful view from its blue shuttered windows, each room
has retained its old oak beams and the cream travertine floors help the house feel
cool and bright.
The Accommodation:
On three floors with wide brick staircases one
with a hand rail. Hall/reception area with
dining area, two wooden tables have seating
for up to 10/12.
There is a sitting area with a day bed and sofa.
The kitchen is off the dining room. Well
equipped for 10 people with a large
fridge/freezer, dish washer, kettle, hob coffee
maker,toaster, gas hob and oven, double sink,
storage, shelves. Back glass doors lead to a
small herb garden.
A down stairs WC and utility room are next to
the kitchen with a washing machine and sink.
Stairs lead to the first floor with a hand rail.
There are two double bedrooms on this floor.
The master bedroom has a private shower,
sink and WC and a curtained storage space.
The other double bedroom also has a
curtained storage space.
Both room are double aspect.
The master room looks out at the pool.
There is a sitting room with a sofa and two
chairs, TV with DVD, portable CD player, a
fireplace /woodburner ( not in use in the
summer) and glass doors leading to a balcony.
The balcony is large and railed with a table,
chairs, umbrella and an outside light.It enjoys
spectacular views of the mountains and hill
top towns. A wonderful place for pre dinner
drinks, breakfast and coffee.
There is a spacious shower room on the
first floor with WC, and sink and shower
cubicle.
A second staircase leads to three more
bedrooms and a bathroom.
All the rooms are twin bedded. They can
become double beds if required.
Each a has hanging space and hanging
storage .
The bathroom has a bath with a shower
attachment, WC and sink.
The outside area has a covered loggia to the
back of the house through a "garden Room"
used for storage of chairs and garden
furniture.
There is a table and seating for 10.The loggia
is planted with various climbing plants such
as jasmine.
It overlooks the pool and garden so that
children can be supervised.
The pool a short walk up the slightly raised
garden has a pebble /stone surround, and a
covered pergola. The pool is 8 x 4 with ship
steps.
Garden furniture , sun beds and umbrellas are
provided.
The house has full central heating and is
available until November and after April.
Linen and towels including pool towels are
provided on a weekly basis.
A weekly clean is included.
Welcome pack with basic provisions is
provided by the owners.
The house manger is a local English lady.
