Casa Poppi is situated on the side of a quiet hill overlooking a
rural valley only 10 mins drive from the beautiful historic hilltop
town of San Ginesio- known as The Balcony of Le Marche. It's a
pretty farmhouse which would suit two families or maybe just
one large family group. The large ensuite master bedroom room
is on a separate floor and easily accommodates cots if required,
making this a good holiday house for a young family.
There is a large Ensuite masterbedroom, 2 Doubles and 1 Single
(with Shared bathroom, loo and sink). Each bedroom has its own
tv/dvd player and are decorated in a pretty Italian style. There is
a sitting room sofas, armchairs and an open fire and tv/dvd which
leads onto the kitchen-diner. This is equipped with a 4 ring gas
hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, coffee maker
and all the utensils you'd expect in a rural Italian kitchen. Down
in the Utility Room is a washing machine with iron and board.
Outside, there is a large shady loggia which looks out onto the
gardens and pool. It's a lovely place to enjoy coffee and breakfast,
long, long lunches and dining al fresco with the perfumes of the
garden wafting in. The pool is 8x4m and has ship's steps. There's a
terracotta terrace where you can relax on a lounger under a
parasol and then pop in for a quick dip to cool down from that
hot old Italian sun.
Casa Poppi is a charming place where you and your family can
get away from it all under the azure summer skies. Plus it's got
WiFi to keep you connected (if you must!) and it's only 10 mins
from the renowned historical hilltown of San Ginesio.

Within 10 mins drive is this classic,walled medieval hilltop town.
It's a beautifully preserved yet vibrant little town with a wealth of
charm and history amid its narrow cobbled streets. The views from
the town walls are amazing and one of the reasons that San Ginesio
is dubbed The Balcony of Le Marche. It's got a well stocked
Mini-Mart which sells local Meat, Vegetable,Regional Produce,
Sundries, Wine etc. There are Chemists, Butchers, Grocers, Bakers(
with fresh bread and pastries)and ATMs. Needless to say, there are
Restaurants and Pizzerias specialising in the delicious seasonal
dishes of the area as well as Bars to enjoy Coffee, Ice Creams,
Snacks and maybe a game of Table Footie. It's got 12 public Tennis
Courts.During the summer there are a number of Festas held in the
town where the locals tuck into traditional produce to the
accompaniment of music and dancing.There is a week of Medieval
Jousting, Battles and other Re-enactments during August. More

There are public Tennis Courts which can be booked and a
Playground for the wee ones.
The Adriatic Coast is no more than 40 minutes drive with clean
white Beaches, Night Life, Cafe life and countless Fish Restaurants
overlooking the aquamarine sea.
Macerata with its famous Open Air Opera Season (July/August) is
only 35 mins drive. The heart of the Sibillini National Park with
its spectacular Peaks, Walks and Lakes is only 45 mins drive.
Loreto, Ascoli Piceno, Conero , Ancona, Assisi, Frasassi Caves,
Adriatic Coast, Rome, Bologna , Urbino - All these places of interest
are do-able as daytrips or an overnight stay .
