Thank you ever so much for your help in organising our Honeymoon to your
cottage. The cottage was ideal for us; it was so quiet and peaceful and
everything we could have wished for. The kitchen with its indoor and outdoor
breakfast table was wonderful for a relaxing start to the day. We didn't use the
living room, preferring to sit out on the patio under the oak tree. However the
swing seat on the patio was great for siestas or romantic cuddles in the evening.
The poolside certainly is a sun trap, and we spent most days chilling in front of
the fantastic view across the valleys to the Sibillini mountains.
It only got better at night, with the lack of street lighting meaning virtually
black skies. The stars were fantastic

La Serenita in Le Marche , Italy is a lovely holiday house offering
a private pool, secluded location, breath taking views and
accommodation for 4 people close to the village Sant Angelo in
Pontano in central le Marche.

.La Serenita is set amongst the glorious country side of southern Le
Marche. Situated in one of the most sought after areas of this
enchanting and as yet undiscovered region, this beautiful little house
is one mile from the closest village Sant Angelo in Pontano which
provides for most shopping needs and has three excellent restaurants
serving delicious typical Marchigiana food and wine, one having a
panoramic terrace for outside dining in the summer.

25 minutes drive away is the regions provincial city, an elegant
walled citadel which as well as having top quality boutiques and
restaurants stages a spectacular open air opera season each summer.

The house is less than an hour from the coast and 40 minutes drive
takes you into the majestic Sibillini mountains for a days trekking,
picnicking or swimming in a glacial lake.

Just over one hour from Le Marche's airport Ancona with flights
from Ryan Air London Stansted and Liverpool.

Le Marche neighbours Tuscany, Umbria and Emilia Romagna but has
very few tourists in comparison and has been described as Italy in one
region and Italy's best kept secret. La Serenita is an old stone and
brick farmhouse which has been very carefully restored to preserve
all its natural character and charm. For anyone seeking a completely
private and secluded hideaway yet only a mile from a vibrant
medieval hill top town with restaurants , bars and shops this is the
perfect choice.
The views of the mountains and the surrounding gentle countryside
are wonderfull, your only neighbours a herd of sheep with their
tinkling neck bells grazing on the next valley.

This is a retreat, a hideaway for honeymooners searching for a
romantic idyll, a couple , a small group, family or one person seeking
sanctuary amongst ideal Italian countryside.
The house sleeps 4 people and is generously equipped to ensure a
comfortable, effortless holiday.

The private stone lined pool is situated in front of the house with
beautiful views and benefits from all day long sunshine. With no
neighbours or prying eyes there is a real sense of privacy and one is
able to completely unwind in this secluded, tranquil haven.

Two stone built walled terraces outside the house offer perfect places
for outside eating at all hours of the day and night. A huge ancient
oak tree offers much needed shade from the hot Italian sun.

LAYOUT
The house is accessed from a white track with parking for to cars.
steps lead to the house - front door into hallway into the sitting room
with comfy sofas, TV/DVD/Audio system.
There is a terrace to the front with a swing chairs and table and
chairs.
Downstairs to a well equipped kitchen with table and chairs, fridge,
dishwasher, ashing machine, kettle, toaster, china and equipped for 4
- 6 people. The kitchen door leads to a second dining terrace .
The 1st floor has a double and twin bedroom with a shower room
with WC, hand basin in between both rooms.
The rooms are equipped with comfortable beds and storage for clothes
The double room has a door to an upper terrace and the house can be
directly accessed through the door to the bedroom.
A small stone clad pool 5 x 3 meters with a paved sun terrace for
sunbathing. Sun loungers are provided.
The location is completely private although close to a hill town which
is well equipped with shops, bars and restaurants.

SURROUNDING AREA
The local medieval village is a stunning , unspoilt example of a
walled medieval hill town. A beautifully preserved and fully
inhabited village with art treasures in one of the churches . The
house is 8 minutes drive into the piazza - there is a small , well
stocked mini mart which sells meat, vegetable, sundries, wine etc.
There is a chemist very close by. A bank with an ATM which
accepts visa and foreign cards is almost opposite.
There are 3 bars and one excellent restaurant in the hotel situated
in a beautiful, piazza. Next door there is an excellent
pizzeria/trattoria. The is an excellent supermarket 5 minutes drive
from the house . A few minutes drive there are several restaurants
and hill towns to explore and try.
The food is typically Marchigianan and absolutely delicious -
accompanied by one of the many superb Marche wines.

The coast is no more than minutes drive with clean white beaches,
night life, Cafe life and Countless fish restaurants.

The mountains are less than 25 minutes with all kinds of activities
available including a fresh water lake , restaurants and bars, quad
bike hire , hiking , absailing and horse rides.
Macerata , the provincial city , a stunning medieval walled city
holds a glorious open air opera season every summer for three
weeks - 20 minutes drive from the house.
