CASA QUADRATO: Elegant stone farmhouse and private guest cottage, infinity pool, aga kitchen, glorious mountain views. Nestled deep amid ancient oak and walnut trees at the end of a country road, lies the magic that is Casa Quadrato. The restored centuries old house is positioned on the edge of the Sibillini National Park, in a storybook hamlet close to Amandola.Casa Quadrato is situated on top of a hill in the foothills of the monte sibillini with a long private drive the house is totally private and secluded . The accommodation offers a large sitting reception room with sumptuously comfortable sofas , a large open working fire and carefully chosen antiques . The kitchen is a cooks dream being large and spacious, with a baby blue aga, top quality fridges and equipment. There is a table and chairs and cookery books. There is also a dining room with seating for 8 and another open fire and sitting area. A long loggia stretches the length of the back of the house, close to the kitchen, with a large graceful table and chairs and an extraordinary view. The house is surrounded by well tended, flat lawn and edges down to the semi circular infinity pool which has wooden sun beds, comfortable cushions, a built in barbecue, fridge etc. 1st Floor: Study/Small sitting area for watching DVD's from the extensive library provided. The bedrooms: Master bed with a private bathroom, sink, wc, shower .Guest bedroom one is a double bed with a beautiful private bathroom but this is shared by bedroom three if occupied. Bedroom three is a smaller room with a double bed directly opposite bed 2 and good therefore for children or babies who are welcome. There is also a recently restored guest cottage with sophisticated interiors, spacious and elegant with a private bathroom with a copper bath, sink, wc and bidet. There is a staircase which takes you to the guest cottage bedroom. The house is booked as a whole and the cottage is never booked independently. HOUSE LAYOUT: Entrance from the loggia: Reception area with sofas - Sitting room with sofas, open fire place. Kitchen - Fully equipped with Aga, table and chairs, doors to garden. Into dining room ith large dining table and chairs - open fire place. Staircase to 1st Floor. Master bedroom - Spacious kingsize bed room with private bathroom. Guest Bedroom - Spacious room with Double Bed Guest Bedroom - Cosy Double Bedroom Bathroom with Bath, Shower, Wc and Basin Small sitting room with TV , fireplace and large DVD selection. Guest Cottage Seperate from the main house with a large double bedroom and private bathroom with a copper bath . OUTSIDE A long loggia with a large dining table and benches shaded by a mature Canadian vine. With comfortable sofas also under the loggia to enjoy the exceptional views. the loggia has outside lighting. Grass well tended lawn and large garden Path and steps down to the infinity pool decked and paved. Wooden sun beds and cushions, picnic equipment, barbecue, pizza oven, fridge, table and chairs under a mature oak tree . Spacious driveway - the road is accessed from a country lane. Plenty of walks from the house. Infinity pool South facing terrace to enjoy maximum sunlight and stunning views. Dining table under large tree, teak sun chairs and umbrellas for shade. Outdoor solar shower, indoor changing room hut with bathroom and outdoor kitchen which has BBQ, refrigerator, cooktop and traditional wood burning pizza oven. LOCAL AREA CASA QUADRATO: The local medieval hill town Amandolais well stocked ith supermarkets, bakers, a weekly market, banks, restaurants and bars. The house is perfectly situated for day trips to the Adriactic coast, visiting Ascoli Piceno, the exquisite southern provincial city , Amandola, Beautiful Monte San Martino, the Sibillini mountains with breath taking views, walking and many out door sports including skiing in winter and numerous medieval hill twons with fascinating histories, stunning architecture and excellent restaurants and pizzerias. Day trips to Assisi and Spoleto both less than two hours. Rome is 3 hours, the closest beach is just over one hours drive. The regional capital Ascoli Piceno is a 40 minute drive with top quality boutiques and restaurants and fascinating cultural history. Macerata Opera: Macerata Opera Season Le Marche Macerata is 45 minutes drive. The local area is busy with festa and Sagras in the summer time celebrating harvests and holidays. These are great fun for all the family, everyone staying up late into the night, eating gelati and dancing.Close by the Adriatic coast with its long white beaches and numerous fish restaurants and nightlife is an easy 40 minute drive. The Sibilini mountains with all their natural beauty, wonderful walking, skiing, wild flowers and pony trekking along with water sports on a natural fresh water lake are 45 minutes drive from the house. The nearest beach Civitanova is a 40 minute drive offering sandy beaches and a wide choice of fish restaurants, shops, boutiques and coffee bars. There is a lively night life scene too. The chic resorts of Grottamare and San Benedetto are a further 30 minutes to the south. Monte Conero National Park is about an hours drive to the north with well marked walks, mountain biking and excellent beaches and restaurants at Sirolo, Numana and Portonovo.
