CASA MORO : A beautiful 19th century farmhouse, rebuilt to give
you the perfect holiday. Secluded on a gentle hillside with
panoramic views of the Sibillini Mountains and the rolling valleys,
yet only 8 minutes by car to the wonderful medieval spa town of
Sarnano and about 45 minutes from the Adriatic coast. Eat in the
huge kitchen, equipped for the most demanding cook, or on the
connecting terrace for al fresco lunches and enchanting sunset
suppers. Relax in the spacious sitting room with its leather sofas
and open fire, take breakfast on the adjoining terrace and if you're
early enough watch the sunrise over hilltop villages. Tread the
stone path to your private 12m pool, surrounded by its broad
terracotta terrace. Take time to settle in, enjoy walks to local
hamlets and be sure to pay an early visit to Sarnano, which offers
centuries old charm and modern facilities in equal measure. Local
restaurants are superb. Casa Moro is a meticulously restored large
farmhouse close to Sarnano in a perfectly tranquil, private location.
The house has far reaching views of mountains, towns and valleys.
Tastefully furnished with a high level of comfort supplied the
house is cool in summer and cosy in winter.
Sarnano a few kilometers away is a bustling town with a generous
amount of interesting shops and boutiques, a good supply of
restaurants some excellent and many pizzerias and gelati bars.
It has two supermarkets and a market every Thursday. The
beautiful pool commands wonderful views as do the loggias on each
side of the house. Casa Moro has a homely, benevolent atmosphere
having been lovingly restored by its English owners yet is a
highly sophisticated house providing a perfect holiday home for
families, groups or honeymooners and a perfect base for immersing
oneself in the beautiful surrounding countryside.
A large farmhouse style fitted wooden kitchen with everything
provided including a large fridge, 5 burner hob and large gas oven,
a very generous supply of good quality crockery and glass ware. An
expansive wooden table and seating for ten are provided. An
elegant , spacious sitting room with leather sofas has a huge open
wood fire which dominates the room. Doors lead to terraces outside.
Casa Moro would be a wonderful place to spend Christmas owing to
is atmosphere of cosiness and warmth but in summer the spacious
rooms keep cool as they have high ceilings.
The first floor houses 4 the rest of the bedroom with a double or
twin on the ground floor. Two double bedrooms have private
shower rooms , all with high quality fittings and fixtures through
out . The house is fully gas fired central heated and each window
has shutters and mosy screens. The house has been designed with
families in mind and is perfect for 2 families sharing .
In the basement there is a games area with a ping pong table.
Outside the pool is to the front of the house , the driveway is
dominated by the huge old mulberry tree. The pool is 12 x 6 with
ship steps paved terrace and 10 sun beds. There are two tiled loggias
with rattan furniture on either side of the house, the views in all
directions are stunning, mountains, valleys, meadows, fields and
hill towns.
HOUSE LAYOUT
The front door leads from the hall in one direction to the large
farmhouse style kitchen fully equipped for 10 people. A French
door leads to one loggia perfect for enjoying morning coffee and a
chilled glass of prosecco or two.
The entrance also leads past the wide staircase to a tin bed room
that also converts into a double bed. Next door is a family bathroom.
The very generously sized sitting room has dark leather sofas
gathered around the open fire which dominates part of the room.
There are more French doors leading to the other loggia which has
more magnificent views. The house has Sky TV and an audio
system, DVD and a library of books and DVD,s.
The 1st floor house two double bedrooms , both the same size and
layout each with a private shower room with a WC and a wash
hand basin. The rooms are designed around two sets of adults
booking the house and enjoying the same levels of comfort.
Two twin bed rooms are perfect for children with a family
bathroom provided for both rooms. The bathroom with shower, WC,
bidet and wash basin.

SURROUNDING AREA
The local market town Sarnano is a stunning , unspoilt example of
a walled medieval hill town with a large selection of both boutique
shops and supermarkets. . The house is 8 minutes drive into the
main piazza The banks bank have an ATM which accept visa and
foreign cards.
There are several bars and an excellent selection of restaurants and
pizzerias.The food is typically Marchigianan and absolutely
delicious - accompanied by one of the many superb Marche wines.

Tennis players can use the tennis camp in the village..
The coast is no more than 1 hour minutes drive with clean white
beaches, night life, Cafe life and Countless fish restaurants.

area.
The mountains are less than 15 minutes with all kinds of activities
available including a fresh water lake , restaurants and bars, quad
bike hire , hiking , ab sailing and horse rides.
Macerata , the provincial city , a stunning medieval walled city
holds a glorious open air opera season every summer for three
weeks - 40 minutes drive from the house.
