CASA MIRA: A stylish airy spacious villa nestled on a hillside just outside a magnificent and famous hill town in the province of Macerata of Le Marche. It has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 3 doubles a twin and a bunk bed. One ensuite 2 shower rooms and a stylish bathroom with a separate double hand basin room.. With emphasis put on comfort, gatherings under the loggia, cooking, eating and enjoying an aperitif in the evening light ..A perfect house and setting for fun family or group holidays but comfortable for smaller numbers. Set in the rolling hills of Le Marche easy access to the village which has two restaurants and bars, a theatre, park and was voted one of the 100 most beautiful hill towns in Italy. There are exceptionally beautiful views of dramatic mountains fields full of sun flowers and hill top towns. Casa Mira is a spacious, light and comfortable holiday home furnished with good quality furnishings. The house benefits form a long shady loggia for outside dining and a classically elegant large pool with stunning views. The house can sleep 12 with 6 bedrooms all comfortably furnished . The unusually piano shaped pool has a dramatic south facing location with exceptional mountain views. It is a generous size and has shallow and deep end, allowing plenty of room for proper swimming and diving. The spacious arched loggia provides an ideal spot to enjoy long lunches in the shade with incredible views to enjoy. The pool has a decked terrace ideal for sunbathing looking out towards the dramatic mountains and idyllic Italian countryside. Also a perfect sun downer location. The pool is not fenced and young children need complete supervision at all times. The grass flat lawns offer plenty of space for games , a badminton net is provided. There is a large built in barbecue, hammocks and plenty of sun beds with cushions, tables and chairs for plenty of al fresco dining. With fruit trees, a small olive grove and vines galore the house and its grounds are gloriously located with magnificent panoramic views and convenient for shops, restaurants and hill towns. HOUSE LAYOUT Entering the house from the arched loggia takes you into a very spacious, elegant reception room with an open fire, grand piano, sofas and chairs. Several French doors lead out to the loggia. A sitting room leads from the reception room has a flat screen TV with a large DVD library, open fire place two large sofas creating a cosy space to read or watch films. One Sofa opens out as a large double bed. The kitchen leads off the reception room - with a wooden table and benches, a well equipped kitchen with gas hob, oven, dish washer, American style fridge/freezer, pine dressers and French doors leading to the barbecue area. There is a ground floor shower room with a WC, wash hand basin and bidet. Marble stairs lead u to the 1st floor with a wrought iron hand rail. 5 bedrooms lead from the wide corridor. 2 large doubles - 1 Super king bed 2 Twin beds - One room has bunk beds and a cot. Each room has a wardrobe and chest of drawers, shutters at the windows, fans and mosquito nets available if required. One this floor there is a bathroom with inset bath, WC, Bidet A separate room has two wash hand basins . There is an independent shower room - a spacious fully tiled shower room. Marble stairs lead up to the 2nd floor. This floor has a twin bed room with an en- suite shower room with shower cubicle, WC, wash hand basin . The washing machine is housed in this room. There is a part roofed balcony which provides a private sun deck with sun beds and a truly breathtaking view. OUTSIDE An arched loggia runs the length of the house with a wooden picnic table and 12 chairs. There are also bistro style tables and chairs available. To the side of the house is a large built in barbecue. A small olive grove and vines with fruit trees provide a shady place to snooze in one of the hammocks provided. The pool is grand piano shaped 14 meters in length 3ft - 7ft deep. Ships steps. Paved surround . Decked sunbathing area with plenty of sun beds with cushions for extra comfort. There is a lawn area and a meadow . Access to the house is gained from a no tarmac white road . SURROUNDING AREA The medieval village San Genesio is a stunning , unspoilt example of a walled medieval hill town. A beautifully preserved and fully inhabited village with art treasures in one of the 4 churches . The house is 8 minutes drive into the piazza - there is a small , well stocked mini mart which sells meat, vegetable, sundries, wine etc. There is a chemist very close by. A bank with an ATM which accepts visa and foreign cards is almost opposite. There are 3 bars and one excellent restaurant in the hotel situated in a beautiful, piazza. Next door there is an excellent pizzeria/trattoria. The is an excellent supermarket 5 minutes drive from the house . A few minutes drive there are several restaurants and hill towns to explore and try. The food is typically Marchigianan and absolutely delicious - accompanied by one of the many superb Marche wines. See our wine section for more details. Tennis players can use the tennis camp in the village.. The coast is no more than 45 minutes drive with clean white beaches, night life, Cafe life and countless fish restaurants. See our Annual Restaurant guide which will be in the house. La Vita is both a restaurant guide and a general service guide to the area. The mountains are less than 25 minutes with all kinds of activities available including a fresh water lake , restaurants and bars, quad bike hire , hiking , ab sailing and horse rides. Macerata , the provincial city , a stunning medieval walled city holds a glorious open air opera season every summer for three weeks - 20 minutes drive from the house.
