We had a wonderful time exploring this beautiful region or just lazing by the pool. We were in awe at the amazing restoration work on the farmhouse - beautiful furnishings too. What with the views, the pool and the long lunches, we had such a great time it was hard to force ourselves away to visit the locality. But every local town was a winner for interest, beauty and history. . A beautiful property inside and out that's been furnished with great care and attention making sure that everything you could possibly need is available. We had a fantastic time. |

Casa Mimosa A handsome, beautifully restored old farmhouse meticulously restored to accentuate the charm of this lovely, gracious old house .Large spacious rooms with high beamed ceilings , the ground floor is the old cantina retaining the stone original floor , a relaxing atmospheric home in a commanding position with magnificent views of the Sibillini mountains, several medieval hill towns and the spectacular countryside surrounding the house. A newly installed 12 x 7 m pool surrounded by a paved terrace is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the peace and fabulous views. A loggia provides the perfect place to enjoy al fresco lunches shaded form the hot Italian sun. Another dining terrace on the other side of the house offers more spectacular views and easy access to the well equipped cooks kitchen. Four bedrooms , 2 double, 1 twin or double, 1 double and 2 singles each have its own private bathroom. Close to the beautiful ornate hill town Monte San Martino perched on a hill 800 meters above sea level with an excellent restaurant and classical Italian bar in the main piazza. 4 miles from Servigliano another uniquely beautiful walled town boasting several top quality shops, butcher, baker and several pizzerias and restaurant along with a cinema. The coast is less than 1 hour , the mountains less than 50 minutes away. Casa Mimosa offers a perfectly situated and beautifully presented home for a relaxing, stress free holiday in spectacular Le Marche countryside.. LAYOUT The House The front door leads into the atmospheric dining room with a table and chairs for 10 people leading into the full equipped kitchen with a table and chairs. Large fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle , double sinks and french doors leading out to a terrace with a table , chairs and parasol. A utility room has the washing machine and more storage with a sink. A large sitting room has a log burner, two large sofas, chairs, TV DVD only. Stairs lead up to the 1st floor. First Floor: Master bedroom with private bathroom, large bath tub, walkin large chrome head shower, basin, wc and bidet. 2nd bedroom double bed private bathroom with large bath tub, walk-in shower with large chrome head shower, wc, basin and bidet. 2nd floor: Accessed up a wide staircase Twin beds or double with private shower room, glass door shower cubicle with chrome head built in shower, basin, wc, bidet. 4th bedroom with double bed and 2 single beds - a spacious family room that can also be changed to be 4 singles with a private shower room with glass cubicle built in shower with chrome shower head , basin, wc and bidet. Each room has a window with a mosquito screen, each bedroom is dual aspect with two windows in each room, shutters at each window and room fans.Bedside tables and lamps are provided in each bedroom along with good cupboard s and storage. Ceramic floors, spacious rooms and beamed high ceilings keep the house cool especially the ground floor but cosy in inter with full central heating and two wood burners. Outside 12 x 7 m pool with internal steps in front of the house with paved terrace, 8 wooden sun chairs with cushions, parasols , a well kept lawn and planted with shrubs fruit trees and lavender banks. A newly restored loggia with table , chairs and shade provided by the tiled roof to one side of the house close to the kitchen with a barbecue. A large oak table on the other side of the house provides another dining area The house is accessed down a white road and has ample parking space. LOCAL AREA Servigliano is a 10 minute drive, a walled town originating from Medieval times with a beautifully preserved centro storico. There are several shops, bakers, butchers , chemists and a variety of shops. There is a choice of restaurants and pizzerias, cafes serving excellent quality coffee and gelati. There are various concerts and events during the year and a weekly market. Penna San Giovanne and Monte San artino very close with many cultural treats. The mountains are 20 minutes drive with fascinating hill towns selling truffles and many restaurants serving mountain produce. Walking , trekking, quad biking, escorted walking tours, cookery courses are all activities you can try during your stay. The coast and the white beaches of the Adriatic are an hours drive . Babysitting, Taxis, chefs, wine tastings are all available and can be arranged through us. Further afield Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Urbino, Assisi are all close enough to visit for the day. Skiing is available January to March approximately 45 mins drive. Christmas and new years are wonderful times to visit Italy for a purely Italian experience and Casa Coletta provides a perfect venue for such a celebrations.
