Casa Maria: A spacious and beautifully presented farmhouse close to the coast and Fermo. It has a little self contained cottage which can also be rented with the house. The large pool is on a panoramic terrace commanding magnificent views. With 7 bedrooms all with private bathroom/shower rooms, large reception areas, a fitted kitchen and an loggia for outside dining the house is perfect for large groups . The rate is less for smaller numbers so please enquire for details and availability. There is WiFi throughout. | The property is completely private with no shared facilities and the swimming pool is fenced, thus ideal for families. There is one extra large patio with a barbecue, seating and two long tables to accommodate 20 adults or more. There are many other patios, an extra large roof terrace, a veranda and garden spaces all with tables and chairs. The pool area has an outdoor solar shower, sun loungers, steamer chairs, umbrellas, tables, benches and a large shady pergola. The pool is surrounded by olive trees and offers breathtaking views over rolling countryside and of the mountains. The entire grounds and pool area have automatic lighting systems, so you can relax where ever you want to be. An evening swim under the stars with the mountain back drop is a memorable treat. | Guest Book We found the house a very relaxing place to stay. All rooms had an en-suite bathroom which was a huge bonus and having young children we liked the fact that the pool was safely tucked away with access only via a gate. The kitchen was amazing – a delight to cook in, as for the views, we spent many calming moments gazing at the mountains and we grew very fond of the farmer on his tractor going up and down the surrounding fields droning like a bee in the distance! Quite the rural retreat. Yet, just 20 minutes away were the sandy beaches of the Adriatic coast for the children to enjoy, and for us the highlight of our stay was the trip to the mountain villages, just an hour away - and the swim in the fresh water Lake Fiastra. We also had a most enjoyable evening out for some adventurous ‘grown up’ cuisine at the restaurant Il Picene in the hill-top village of Ortezzano, we would highly recommend it when the pizza and pasta gets too much! from Sue and Family - |
