| The house is situated a short distance from the village, and is easy to drive and pretty easy to walk. The property is accessed through grand double gates, inside is plenty of parking and just a few steps to the front door. Outside is a lovely covered pergola with a grape vine (eating variety) trailing over. From here you can see the beautiful views to the mountains and the olive trees that trail away in front of you. Down a few steps you reach the swimming pool with it lounge chairs and sitting area around. As the name says, lots of lovely oleander give the garden wonderful colour in season. Inside we enter into a spacious living / dining area equipped with sky tv. |
| Accessibility The property is accessed from the parking area with a few gently sloping stone steps. From here the area into and around the house are quite flat with some gravel areas. The ground floor bedroom provides excellent accommodation for persons with mobility difficulties. However, please note that access to the pool is down steps that are steeper than those into the property itself. Everything inside the house on the ground floor is on one level. Outside There are lovely gardens around the property that include olive trees, herbs and oleanders, also with some large spacious grounds for kicking a ball around if the children like to have a game away from the pool. Outdoor furniture for relaxing and eating are provided. The swimming private pool is accessed down a few steps from the house and steps are within the pool itself to make it good for young ones and easy access. The pool is 10m x 5m in a private, peaceful location with wonderful views, close to house but a safe distance apart. |
| Most villages have a small grocery store, a bakery and green-grocery and sometimes a butcher where you can buy local produce and essentials. There are a number of big supermarkets, usually situated close to the coast which is ideal if you are coming from one of the major airports and you want to shop en-route to L'Oasi. Ask us for detailed directions. Oasi supermarket (Girasole Centre) is in Fermo and Porto San Giorgio and Iper Supermarket is in Civitanove Marche. The property is an easy distance to the local village where you will find a restaurant, cafe bar and general shops. A market goes to the village each week. For bigger grocery shopping everything can be found on the main road just 5 minutes drive out of the village. The village is walking distance from the village and close to several other lovely medieval hill towns each with an excellent restaurant , pizzeria, bar serving gelati and coffee, most village has a baker, small mini mart, post offices, chemist and ATM machines. A stunning clear water lake can be reached within 25 mins , a wonderful place to spend a day or two , safe swimming bring a picnic and spend the day. The coast is 40 mins away the beaches have clean beach awards, a huge choice of restaurants serving sea food from the adriatic, fish dishes and pizza. Designer outlet shops are 30 mins drive towards the coast. Macerata the provincial city is 20 mins drive and hosts a spectacular open air opera season in july. There is a generous choice of excellent restaurants in the local area and a restaurant guide is left in the house for your enjoyment. |
