CASA CLARISSA: Close to Macerata in Central Le Marche, Italy is an attractive comfortably designed holiday house situated within 40 minutes of the coast and mountains in the most sought after area of Le Marche. The house comes with a private pool on a panoramic terrace with beautiful views towards the mountains and various hill towns scattered around the valleys. The accommodation for 10 people offers 4 bedrooms , three with private shower room and two terraces for outside dining .Casa Clarissa has been designed as a family holiday house and offers a safe environment for young children and also sophisticated comfort for grownups. There are 5 mountain bikes for exclusive use and a play station with games provided. Casa Clarissa is situated in a secluded, peaceful location surrounded by olive groves and fields. A short drive of 5 minutes takes you to the nearest supermarket and pizzeria/restaurant. From the house you can see several charming hill towns and hear the church bells drifting across the valley. There are two hill towns within 10 minutes drive , both have bakers, shops, butchers , bars restaurants and wine bars. There are several sophisticated places to eat within 10 minutes drive along with several family style restaurants and pizzeria and gelati bars. The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 bath or shower rooms and is tastefully furnished with some pieces of English country old pine. The pool is 8 x 5 meters and surrounded by decking with roman steps and all one depth excellent both for child security and swimming length's.The pool terrace has a table and chairs with a sun umbrella and is convenient for the kitchen. There is also a covered loggia leading from the dining room and balcony terrace all perfect places for outside dining and enjoying a glass of wine as theviews are spectacular night and day. The garden is half lawn and planted with flowers and shrubs. Big tubs of geraniums grace the drive way and front of the house. There is ample parking space and a good size driveway. LAYOUT Sleeps Max 12 plus 2 Cots 4 Bedrooms - 2 Double 1 Twin 1 Bunk Beds 3 En suite Shower Rooms - 1 Family Bathroom Enter the large spacious sitting room from the front door - A balcony at the back of the house with views of hill towns - a spectacle at night time with the tinkling lights. The sitting room has two large sofas, and chairs with a coffee table, small TV with DVD and a play station. The house is well equipped with baby toys, chairs, books etc. The dining room leads from the sitting room and has a large wooden table which can seat 12 if needed with 10 pine chairs. There is a CD/Radio/Tape player. The kitchen is off the dining room , there are French doors from the dining room out to the loggia garden and pool. The kitchen which has all modern conveniences including a dishwasher and microwave has a door leading to the pool terrace. The bedrooms are on the first and second floor : One double bedroom with hanging wardrobe, chest of drawers and private shower room also has a day bed/ sofa The other room has bunks and three other camp beds are available if you bring alot of small children. The family bathroom has a large, spa bath, sink, WC, bidet and separate shower cubicle. The second floor has the largest master bedroom with a double bed, large country pine wardrobe and chest of drawers and a private shower room with WC and sink as have all the shower rooms. The bedroom next door has twin beds which can be used as a double and a private shower room . It also has a large pine wardrobe and chest of drawers. Terracotta tiles on the floor . LOCAL AREA Surrounded by several medieval villages perfect unspoilt examples of a walled medieval hill towns. Beautifully preserved and fully inhabited villages . Medieval architecture, good shops ,several restaurants a few minutes drive. There is an excellent supermarket a few minutes drive . The food served in the local restaurants is typically Marchigianan and absolutely delicious - accompanied of the many superb Marche wines. See our wine section for more details. San Genesio is a few miles drive away - voted one of the top 100 most beautiful towns in Italy - it has a weekly Sunday market, a stunningly restored bijou theatre, two restaurants , one serving pizza , the other serving top notch food and wine. The town has a large tennis club open to non members. In the local area you have several lovely hill towns and cities to explore all with excellent restaurants, sophisticated bars or very typical Italian day to day bars, gorgeous architecture, resplendent views, markets, shops, fiestas and concerts. The coast is no more than 40 minutes drive with clean white beaches, night life, Caffe life and countless fish restaurants. See our Annual Restaurant guide which will be in the house. La Vita is both a restaurant guide and a general service guide to the area. The mountains are a 25 minute drive with a stunning fresh water lake with safe swimming , a beach, restaurants, Pedaloes and canoe hire - a fantastic day trip for families . There a wonderful walking opportunities and quad bike hire with a guide available. Macerata the nearest city and the provincial capital is a 20 minute drive , it hosts a spectacular open air opera event annually in July. Bike hire is available and horse riding at a near by Abbey with more beautiful walks in the grounds.
