Casa Anna is a beautifully restored Italian farmhouse nestled on a hillside in the province of Le Marche. It has 6 bedrooms and sleeps up to 12 people. Set in the rolling hills of Le Marche next to fields of sunflowers, Casa Anna is a stunning home, lovingly restored by its interior designer owners and furnished with a keen eye for detail using French and other antique and country pieces. The house retains a peaceful charm, whilst incorporating the latest creature comforts including a plasma screen TV, cinema surround sound, satellite channels, Bose iPod docking station and CD players. The private, cutting edge 12 x 6 m black swimming pool has a children’s paddling area and there's an outdoor shower, fridge and loggia for shade. Located less than 10 minutes drive from San Ginesio, one of Le Marche's most beautiful villages, with superb local shops and only an hour and a quarter from Ancona Airport. Outside Casa Anna has a lovely, well designed large garden with fruit and olive trees and an orto (veggie patch) The 12 METER swimming pool has a pool house with fridge, sink and plastic plates and glasses, there is also an attractive loggia for shade and good quality wooden sun loungers. There are several hammocks around the garden and off the kitchen there is a wonderful shaded loggia with tables for alfresco dining. There's a good terrace for watching the sun go down off the sitting room and a couple of BBQs. LAYOUT: A spacious entrance hall leads into an open reception area with comfortable chairs centered around a log burning stove . The kitchen is very well equipped for catering for 12 plus. Complete with a Gaggia Coofee maker, Large Fridge and Freezer, Gas Hob, electric Oven, Dish Washer and All Modern Conveniences - A Large stock of cookery books - This is a keen chefs kitchen. A utiltiy room hoom the washiing machine, tumbl drier and a double shower room. From the entrance hall you go into a spacious, atmospheric dining room with a huge table and ample dining chairs - this is a splendid room to enjoy some long dinners or lunches. A sitting room leads form the dinig room with large french doors to a paved terrace with tables and seating . A huge covered loggia at the other side of the house leading off the kitchen is the ideal place to enjoy long shady lunches , it has lovely country side views and is furnsihed with a huge wooden table and lots of seating. On the First floor there are three large double bedrooms one with an en suite bathroom. An family bathroom and a shower room are also available on this floor. The Second floor has a further three bedrooms - one double bed room and to twins bedded rooms with a shower and WC . An elegant family home perfect for groups with or without children. Although furnished with very stylishly with great emphasis on comfort and quality the atmosphere of Casa Anna is one of total calm and relaxation , tranquility reigns inside and out with its beautifully looked after grounds, stylish, generously sized pool , pool house with cooking and food storage facilities, large loggia , hammocks in the garden, wifi, plasma screen TVs and chefs kitchen. ~A luxurious holiday house which is a proper home from home in an idyllic location a few hundred meters below a famous hill town. LOCAL AREA San Ginesio with its fabulous range of locals shops (excellent butchers, fruit and veg shop to die for, baker, small supermarkets, pharmacy etc) bars (Bar Centrale serves the best home made ice cream in the area) restaurants is 10 minutes by car away. Sarnano is 20 minutes away and Tolentino is 25 minutes. Assisi can be reached in an hour and a quarter as can beautiful Ascoli Piceno. San Ginesio has a host of special fares and themed events in August. The Opera Festival in Macerata also takes place in August. Lovers of fine footware will delight in the Tod's factory outlet shop and fashion lovers will love the Prada and Armani outlets, all located nearby. Art lovers will be treated to original works by masters such as Crivelli and Lorenzo Lotto still hanging in the churches they were painted for. Crivelli's paintings in the church in Monte San Martino are especially worth a visit (35 mins drive) and the local restaurant serves a fine nettle pasta. People who love to walk can stretch their limbs in the Sibilline Mountains and the staggeringly beautiful landscapes of the Pian Grande where the Castellucio lentils are grown is highly recommended as a day trip.
