Borgo Vecchio is an historic stone and brick house in the heart of a pretty hilltop town only 25 mins drive
from the sea. It has a wealth of beams and tile. It is airy, comfortable, has a garden and is an excellent base
for a holiday or stay in Le Marche.
There are 2 double bedrooms. One has an ensuite shower room and loo. There is also a family bathroom.
On the floor below is the open plan kitchen/diner and sitting room complete with sofas and a working
fireplace. The kitchen has a gas hob, oven,fridge, freezer and dishwasher (the washing machine on the
ground floor). Entertainment wise, the sitting room has a TV for DVDs and a stereo for cds. Downstairs,
there is a table tennis/pool table. There's  enough room for a family to spread out and chill or the house
would equally suit two couples.
There are plenty of opportunities locally to make the most of the fantastic natural beauty of the area with
Mountain and Country Hiking, Bike Hire, Trekking, Ballooning, Rafting, Canoing.
The local Cuisine is excellent, specialising in mushroom and truffle dishes, local meat and game char-grilled
over olive and vine embers. The local wines include the wonderful Rosso Piceno and Verdicchio di Jesi.
There are many local wineries nearby.
Borgo Vecchio is available for short and longer lets.
Macerata Open Air Opera Season (end of July- Early August) 45 mins drive.
Skiing at Sassotetto 50 mins.
