Less than one hour drive to Porto San Giorgio makes daily trips to the coast an easy option. The coastline of the Adriatic has soft sandy or pink pebble beaches, safe
swimming and a huge choice of fish restaurants.
45 minutes into the Sibillini national park in the other direction makes the house a good starting point for those who are planning a hiking holiday or skiing in the winter months.

In the summer months the village has its summer celebrations and Sagras which go on in all the villages from June onwards.

From a view point close to the house the sea is visible on a clear day and from the garden and house the views of the mountains is breathtaking
The English owners, both artists, offer art courses at the house from the garden terrace from which the views are truly inspirational.
The surrounding area has everything culture enthusiasts could desire, countless hill top towns, large and tiny, with a bounty of treasures to be explored.

Emilia Romagna but has very few tourists in comparison and has been described as Italy in one region and Italy's best kept secret. L' Acolta in the hill top town Monte San
Martino is located within the central to southern area of Le Marche which is held to be the most beautiful in the region.
The accommodation :
You enter through a gate in the wall which leads to the garden. The front door leads through a small hall area into the sitting room which has views towards the mountains, a large
wood burning fire and eclectic, antique country furniture with sofas and chairs. From the small hall way steps lead down to a utility room with a washing machine, WC and sink.
Stairs lead down into a large dining room with doors leading into the garden. This room has a dining table and chairs .The glass doors ensure maximising the incredible views.
The kitchen is next door with large glass doors onto the garden and the garden table with chairs. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery, glasses etc but there is no dish
washer.
From the sitting room a staircase takes you to the first floor. There is a spacious master bedroom with a double bed, curtained wardrobe and a bathroom with a bath, overhead
shower attachment, sink and WC.
Two other bedroom have two twin beds. Each has its own bathroom/shower room
. The larger bedroom has twins that can be made into a double bed. This has a connecting bathroom with sink, WC and bath with shower attachment.
The third bedroom has two twin beds and a shower room with a shower, sink and WC.
All the rooms enjoy the wonderful views and have internal shutters.
Full gas fired central heating.
Deck chairs and garden furniture are provided.
The garden is grass with shrubs and mature trees, tables and seating. It is safely fenced and once down the steps the lawn area is quite flat.
